With the new Milas- Bodrum International Airport (BJV), we are now more accessible than ever. Many flag carriers, as well as charter flights serve BJV, with increased services during summer months. The Turkish flag carrier, Turkish Airlines (TK), serve Bodrum year-round, with six daily non-stop flights from Istanbul, and three daily non-stops from Ankara. If you are living in the Americas, Turkish Airlines (TK) offers nonstop service between Istanbul and its US gateway cities New York and Chicago. Boston, Toronto and Washington D.C. flights are being planned. TK also offers code-shared connection service to its gateway cities from all major cities through AA.
Finally, if you live in Europe, take advantage of nonstop charter flights from most major European cities directly into Bodrum-Milas International Airport during summer months. Onur Air, MNG Airlines, BMI, Thomas Cook, Condor, LTU and many other carriers have charter flights to BJV in summer months from all major European, Middle Eastern and Asian cities.
For the more adventurous types out there, you can fly to Istanbul, (IST), Izmir (ADB), Antalya (AYT) or Dalaman (DLM) and take a bus to Bodrum to see some of the picturesque country side of Western and Southern Turkey. Many companies offer excellent bus service virtually to anywhere within Turkey.
